Japanese restaurant "Tanuki"
The restaurant of homely Japanese cuisine "Tanuki" is located on the first floor of
Hotel Sverdlovsk. Every guest can enjoy the atmosphere of the rich Japanese culture.
"Tanuki" in Japanese means "gold, jewel", that is why every visitor of this restaurants is
received here as an important and welcome guest: the samurai doorkeeper opens the door pleasingly, the gong blow
of honour meets the guest, the smiling waitresses, dressed in bright kimono, accompany the quest to the table,
then appears a young man, he holds a copper teapot with extremely long nose; it means, that every guest is
presented with a fruit tea as a sign of respect.
Every interior component features Japanese heritage: the floor, made of natural stone, the linen walls with hieroglyphic paintings, tall Japanese pines, which spread twigs over the tables, and natural screens, made of bamboo helm.
All dishes are cooked on teppan (a special Japanese iron plate, which enables to cook without oil to keep all useful properties of food and to quicken the process of cooking. At average it takes 10-15 minutes for a dish to be ready.
Apart from the traditional cold dishes, we propose you warm rolls, underwent heat treating. It is an ideal chose for people, who do not prefer roar fish.
At the restaurant there are 166 sitting places and VIP-zones. On weekends you can visit us with children, who will certainly enjoy the special menu for children, opportunity to paint in colouring book and to watch cartoons.
The restaurant is open from 12:00 till 23:00. On Friday and Saturday it is open till 02:00.

Café "Kofeinya No. 7"
This establishment has saved the best traditions of coffee and desserts cooking. At "Kofeinya No. 7" you can have some porridge and eggs, at your disposal here is the verity of dishes. On the first floor of hotel Sverdlovsk a cosy modern café "Lyepota" is located. "Lyepota" is a stylish city café with light modern interior, bright leather couches and chairs, and bar counter.
Café "Lyepota" will indulge the visitors with various dishes of Russian and European cuisine, complex big lunches, and variety of desserts and even pizza of home production! The beer experts will surely try three sorts of beer from the wood!
Café "Lyepota" offers two types of services, either self-service or waiter-service.
